Hi, I think that the wireless device will connect to the same server once you have connected to it once. The short of it is, you can't switch to managed mode - you're always in roaming mode, which also means that you can't automatically start a wireless connection because roaming mode always connects to whatever wireless router it finds first - which may not be yours. Somehow Mint doesn't seem to be setting network connections up properly on startup, even if it does recognize and utilize the hardware. The unit works fine in roaming mode, but when I go to The Network Settings, there are no connections listed in the "Location" drop down box.
